About Adult Jazz & Groove Dance Organization

 

Hi, Everyone! Everyone deserves a chance to dance in God's and Jesus' Way besides their way. This vision led us to establish the Adult Jazz & Groove Dance Organization in 2023, a micro adult dance organization catering to adults seeking unlimited dance opportunities worldwide.

 

Our mission is to create an inclusive community for adult dancers who love to dance hip hop, jazz, lyrical, tap, and other styles in a fun, healthy, safe, supportive, and welcoming environment worldwide. We are excited to see dancers live their dreams and gain a great experience dancing with us.

MEET OUR STAFF TEAM

Meet Joy Timmons

 

Joy Timmons has been dancing since age 4. She did her dance training at the College of Southern Maryland, Dance Expressions Inc., Linda Natoli's Studio of Dance & Gymnastics, and Towson University in Maryland. She received her business administration and education from Ashford University (formerly known as the University of Global Campus) and a dance teacher certification from the Dance & Gymnastics Organization.

 

She danced with all-level dance groups at various events, including Bowie State University Talent Shows, Dance Expressions' Annual Showcases, and Mt. Ennon Baptist Church Worship Services in Maryland. Joy won 1st and 2nd place for performing a great solo hip-hop and jazz dance at the Accotink Academy Talent Shows in Virginia. Joy and Linda Natoli's Senior Company Teammates won 2nd place for dancing an excellent jazz dance at the King's Dominion Dance Competition Festival in the same state.

 

Joy taught dancers ballet, creative, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, and tap dance at Encore Baton & Dance Studio, Little Busy Bee Early Learning Center, Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex, The Red Door Studio, and the YMCA in Maryland. Joy looks forward to dancing with everyone, like her future family, at the Adult Jazz & Groove Dance Organization.
